So far, Salma Hayek is the only actress I've seen who matches Colin Farrell on-screen for star quality (in "Ask the Dust"). Other female leads are either weak or invisible. She is astonishingly beautiful, with a humanitarian calling. He is also a tireless charity worker. At long last Farrell is finally paired with a woman of substance. So not just on-screen - Salma is also the best off-screen match for him yet. She also seems the only woman with enough strength of character to help him keep his past troubles at bay. Even the age difference is irrelevant when you see them together. Such a duskily beautiful couple! I for one really hope the story is true - and, if it is, that love lasts. Fingers crossed for them this second time around.
