If you missed Jennifer Hudson singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl XLIII, wow did you ever miss out. Jennifer Hudson not only looked beautiful, she rocked the place out.
It's hard to imagine what she still must be going through after her mom, brother and nephew were killed, but Jennifer Hudson stood up there like a trooper and sang the Star Spangled Banner with heart and then some.
I even thought that some of the players were going to start shedding tears while Jennifer Hudson was singing the Star Spangled Banner before the Super Bowl took off.

UPDATE: Turns out Jennifer Hudson lip synched the anthem after all because it was the first time she's performed since the tragedy and they didn't want to chance a mistake.

Hudson's performance (lip-synched or not) was one of the best parts of the Super Bowl -- second to the ads of course
